Prof. R.S. Chauhan is an Ex Joint Director and Director IVRI (2004-2009). He has 906 publications to his credit including 60 books and 185 research papers. He has received 42 awards/honours from various National and International agencies.

Prof. R.S. Chauhan has been an editor/editor-in-chief/managing editor for 6 research journals/newsletter. He has completed 19 research projects as Project Coordinator, Principal Investigator and Co-principal Investigator, financed by ICAR , UPCAR , IVRI, DST, DADF, Industry ,etc.

He has developed 42 multimedia CDs for students, veterinarians, teachers, diagnosticians and farmers. He has advised 11 Postgraduate /Doctoral research scholars.

He is a life member of 15 scientific societies/ associations besides holding the post of the president, Vice- President, Secretary General, Registrar etc. in different societies. He has also published 48 editorials in Journals.
